The WSOP Super Circuit is going international in earnest. The World Series of Poker has confirmed two new festivals under the banner: WSOP Super Circuit KINGS at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, running October 28 to November 11, 2026, and the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit LATAM at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic from January 24 to February 2, 2027.
Both carry Main Events with $2 million or more in guaranteed prize pools — figures that put them among the largest Circuit tournaments ever staged outside North America.
KINGS returns the WSOP to Rozvadov
King's Casino needs no introduction to European tournament players. Located in Rozvadov on the Czech-German border, it has hosted numerous WSOP Circuit festivals and served as the home of WSOP Europe from 2017, a run that produced record-breaking Main Events and cemented the venue as the most important tournament destination in continental Europe.
WSOP Europe moved to Prague in 2026, but King's remained a primary sponsor of the series rather than exiting the relationship. The Super Circuit festival is the next chapter of that partnership.
The centrepiece is the €3,000 WSOP Super Circuit KINGS Main Event with a €2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. At current exchange rates that is comfortably north of $2 million, and it represents one of the largest guarantees on the European calendar for a buy-in under €5,000.
The pricing is deliberate. A €3,000 buy-in sits in the sweet spot between serious and accessible — high enough to attract the professional European circuit, low enough that the enormous recreational base that has always travelled to Rozvadov can justify a shot. King's has built its reputation on volume, and a €2 million guarantee at €3,000 implies a field of roughly 750 entries before rake, which is well within what the venue has delivered repeatedly.
LATAM debuts in the Dominican Republic
The second announcement is the more significant one strategically. WSOP Super Circuit LATAM will be the first WSOP event ever hosted at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, and the first Super Circuit festival aimed squarely at the Latin American and Caribbean market.
The Main Event carries a $3,500 buy-in and a $2,000,000 guarantee, running as part of a ten-day festival from January 24 to February 2, 2027.
Latin America has been the fastest-growing region in poker for the better part of a decade. Brazilian players dominate online tournament leaderboards across multiple networks, Argentine and Mexican fields have grown steadily, and the region's live circuit has expanded well beyond the BSOP-dominated landscape of ten years ago. What it has largely lacked is a WSOP-branded festival of genuine scale.
Punta Cana is a shrewd choice of venue. It is an established international resort destination with direct flights from most of North and South America, which matters enormously for a festival trying to draw from a dozen countries simultaneously. A $3,500 Main Event with a seven-figure guarantee immediately becomes one of the largest tournaments on the regional calendar.
Built on the Canadian blueprint
Both announcements follow the success of the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada at Playground in Kahnawake, Quebec, which ran August 26 to September 12, 2026.
That series featured 18 ring events and more than CA$14 million in advertised guarantees, anchored by a CA$5,000 Main Event with a CA$10 million guarantee. It delivered:
- The largest poker tournament in Canadian history — the Main Event drew 2,844 total entries, won by Mayukh Chakraborty for the CA$1,500,000 top prize
- The largest flight ever recorded for a CA$5,000-or-greater buy-in event
- A CA$500 Mini Main Event that drew 3,484 entries, setting another venue record
That Mini Main number is the one operators will have noticed. A $500 event drawing nearly 3,500 entries demonstrates that the Super Circuit concept works at both ends of the buy-in range simultaneously — a flagship event that generates headlines and a cheap event that generates volume.
The Super Circuit format is essentially the Circuit with the guarantees scaled up and the duration extended. Rather than a two-week regional stop with $400 buy-ins and a $1,700 Main Event, it is a two-week destination festival with the same ring hardware and guarantees an order of magnitude larger.
Why the WSOP is expanding this way
The Circuit has long been the WSOP's volume business — dozens of stops a year, mostly at Caesars properties, producing hundreds of ring winners. The Super Circuit takes that infrastructure and points it at international markets where the WSOP has brand recognition but limited physical presence.
It also solves a specific problem. WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise are bracelet festivals with correspondingly high buy-ins and limited event counts. The Super Circuit fills the gap between a regional $400 ring event and a €10,000 bracelet tournament — serious poker at buy-ins working players can actually reach.
And the rings carry real value in 2026. Every Circuit ring winner this season receives a $5,000 WSOP Paradise package including entry into the $2,750 Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty at Baha Mar. Winning a ring in Rozvadov in November converts directly into a funded December trip to the Bahamas.
What this means for players
If you play the European circuit: a €2 million guarantee at €3,000 is one of the better value propositions on the continent this autumn, particularly at a venue with King's track record for enormous recreational fields. If you are in Latin America or the Caribbean: Punta Cana in January is a genuine first. Inaugural festivals are historically the softest editions a venue ever runs, before the regional professional community fully mobilises around the date. That is the single strongest argument for playing year one of anything.
On ring value: the $5,000 Paradise package attached to every ring means a €3,000 Main Event effectively carries a $5,000 bonus for the winner, and every side event ring does too.
