South Dakota Codified Laws Title 22, Chapter 25 covers gambling offenses. SDCL Title 42, Chapter 7B governs Deadwood gaming. The South Dakota Commission on Gaming oversees Deadwood casinos. Sports betting was approved by Amendment B (2020). Deadwood casinos have a $1,000 maximum bet. No statute addresses online poker.
