Oregon Online Poker Legal Status
Current Law
Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 167 covers gambling offenses. ORS Chapter 461 governs the Oregon State Lottery, which operates Scoreboard sports betting. Tribal gaming operates under IGRA compacts. No statute addresses online poker.
Legislative Outlook
Oregon's lottery-operated sports betting model is different from most states (the lottery is the sole operator rather than licensing commercial entities). This model would be unusual for iPoker. The tribal casinos are the primary gambling stakeholders, and they have not supported online expansion. No iPoker bills have been introduced.
