Best Poker Sites in Indiana (2026)

The Short Answer

Indiana does not have legal, regulated online poker. Indiana has a well-developed gambling industry: 13 commercial casinos (including two racinos), tribal gaming (one tribal casino), and legal mobile sports betting since 2019. Indiana is considered a plausible candidate for igaming expansion.

Indiana players who want to play online poker access offshore operators. The PokerSites.org review team's top picks for Indiana players in June 2026 are BetOnline Poker and Bovada Poker.

Indiana Online Poker Legal Status

Current Law

Indiana gambling is governed by IC 4-33 (Riverboat Gambling) and IC 4-35 (Horse Racing and Sports Wagering). The Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) oversees all regulated gambling. IC 35-45-5 covers gambling offenses and targets operators. No statute addresses online poker for individual players.

Legislative Outlook

Indiana has the regulatory infrastructure and political experience for igaming. The state legalized sports betting quickly in 2019, and multiple licensed operators (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars) already operate in the state. iGaming bills have been discussed but not formally introduced. Indiana borders Michigan (which has iPoker), making cross-border MSIGA participation attractive. Most analysts consider 2028โ€“2029 plausible.
