The Short Answer
Alaska does not have legal, regulated online poker. Alaska has no casinos, no sports betting, and minimal regulated gambling beyond the state lottery and charitable gaming (pull-tabs). It is one of only two US states (with Hawaii) that has virtually no casino-style gambling.
Alaska players who want to play online poker access offshore operators. The PokerSites.org review team's top picks for Alaska players in May 2026 are BetOnline Poker and Bovada Poker.

Alaska Online Poker Legal Status
Current Law
Alaska Statutes Title 11, Chapter 66 (Gambling) prohibit operating gambling enterprises but contain a broad social gambling exemption. Playing poker in a social setting where no person profits other than through personal winnings is not a crime. No Alaska statute addresses online poker.
Legislative Outlook
Alaska's small population (~730,000), geographic isolation, and libertarian political culture create an unusual dynamic. There is minimal legislative appetite for gambling expansion. Casino bills have never gained serious traction. Online poker is not on the political radar.
