Triton ONE & SHRS Cyprus: Nov 5-30

By jason-murphyยทOctober 24, 2026ยท6 min read

Triton ONE and the Super High Roller Series in Northern Cyprus will run for 26 days from November 5 to 30 at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino, and it is billed as the final Triton stop of 2026. The festival combines the more accessible Triton ONE tournaments, topped by an $8,000 Main Event, with the Super High Roller Series, which features buy-ins from $25,000 to $200,000 and a $100,000 Main Event.

If you are a recreational player, this is a festival to watch rather than play. If you are a high-stakes regular or an aspiring one with a satellite route, the schedule contains plenty of detail worth studying. Here is a full breakdown of what is on offer, based on the schedule PokerNews published, and what it means for the Player of the Year races that will be settled in Cyprus.

Dates and Venue

According to the published schedule, Triton ONE runs from November 5 to 15, with the Super High Roller Series (SHRS) following from November 15 to 30. Both are staged at the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino in Northern Cyprus. The festival follows the 10th anniversary Jeju festival in September, where, according to PokerNews, over $100 million was awarded.

Triton ONE Schedule: Buy-Ins From $1,500

Triton ONE is the more affordable half of the festival, with buy-ins ranging from $1,500 qualifiers up to a $15,000 High Roller. The headline events include:

  • $3K QQPK Genesis, November 5-7
  • $5K NLH Mystery Bounty, November 7-9
  • $10K NLH 7-Handed, November 9-10
  • $8K Triton ONE Main Event, November 10-15
  • $6K PLO 6-Handed, November 10-11
  • $15K Triton ONE High Roller, November 13-15

There are also several bounty-style events, including a $4K NLH Big Bounty on November 8, a $5K NLH Bounty Quattro on November 14, and a $2K PLO Turbo Bounty Quattro on November 12. Two One-W events, a $3K One-W Championship on November 8 and a $2K One-W Bounty Quattro on November 9, cater to women players.

For players who bust the Main Event early, the schedule offers alternatives: the $3K NLH Quest, the $5K NLH 7-Handed and the $6K PLO provide ways to rebuy into the action.

Satellites and Qualifiers

There is a route for smaller bankrolls. Triton ONE qualifiers are scheduled for $1,500 each on November 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, all feeding the Main Event. A $2,100 qualifier to the High Roller runs on November 13. These satellites are the best chance for non-professionals to take a seat at the same tables as the biggest names in the game.

The Triton ONE Main Event: An Exclusive Club

The $8,000 Main Event runs November 10-15, and PokerNews notes that the only members of its exclusive club of winners so far are Joshua Gebissa and Wenjie Zhao. Zhao took the previous edition after a heads-up deal with Jon Vallinas, according to PokerNews' earlier coverage, which is notable because Vallinas now leads the season-long Player ONE race.

The Main Event is likely to draw a large field relative to the Super High Roller events, as it is the only event with a satellite pipeline across multiple days. Late registration and multi-day structure mean it will probably be the most accessible big tournament of the festival.

Super High Roller Series: $25K to $200K

The Super High Roller Series begins on November 15 and runs through November 30. Its key events are:

  • $25K NLH TITI Poker, November 15-17
  • $40K NLH Mystery Bounty, November 17-18
  • $50K NLH 8-Handed, November 18-19
  • $200K Triton Invitational, November 20-22
  • $100K NLH Main Event, November 22-24
  • $150K 10th Anniversary Special, November 24-25
  • $50K PLO Mystery Bounty, November 26-27
  • $100K PLO Main Event, November 27-29
  • $75K PLO 6-Handed, November 29-30

PLO returns to the series after being absent in Jeju, which is welcome news for Omaha specialists. If you play pot-limit Omaha, our Omaha guide and the comparison page on Hold'em vs Omaha explain how the games differ.

Triton Invitational pairings can be viewed on the Triton Plus Poker app, and PokerNews will provide live reporting on seven events: five from the SHRS and two from Triton ONE.

The Player of the Year Races

Two season-long races will be decided in Cyprus, and both are worth following.

The Ivan Leow Player of the Year award carries a $200,000 guarantee, and for the first time the top ten finishers are paid. Daniel Dvoress leads with 4,376 points, ahead of Isaac Haxton (3,268), Ben Tollerene (3,096), Wai Kiat Lee (3,061) and Punnat Punsri (3,038). Dvoress holds a large lead, but with several $100,000-plus events still to come, the gap can close quickly if a challenger wins the Main Event.

The inaugural Player ONE title, which is specific to Triton ONE and carries $66,000 in rewards, will also be decided in November. Jon Vallinas leads with 982 points, ahead of Thi Xoa Nguyen (860), Huu Dung Nguyen (773), Yang Wang (766) and Yinan Zhou (746). With the Triton ONE Main Event and the High Roller still to play, this race is genuinely open.

What This Means for Players

Not everyone has a six-figure bankroll, but there are lessons for ordinary players.

First, satellites are the equaliser. A $1,500 qualifier buys access to the same Main Event as the professionals. If you are considering that route, review your bankroll management first, because satellites are high-variance and you should not risk money you cannot afford to lose. Our tournaments page lists where to find online satellites.

Second, the mix of formats is a useful guide to where the game is heading. Bounty and mystery-bounty events now fill a large share of the schedule, and strategy for these formats differs from standard freezeouts. Our poker strategy hub covers the core concepts.

Third, if you are following the action as a spectator, understanding ICM will make the final tables much easier to follow. Money jumps in super high roller events are enormous, and ICM pressure explains many of the decisions that look strange on stream.

High-Stakes Context

Triton's Cyprus festival also arrives at a time when the high-stakes calendar is busy. The Poker Masters has just finished in Las Vegas, and the next big stops include the WSOP Paradise series in the Bahamas in December. If you enjoy following the biggest buy-ins, our high stakes page covers where the largest games run and how to follow them.

Bottom Line

Triton ONE and the Super High Roller Series offer 26 days of poker across two distinct tiers: an accessible Triton ONE with an $8,000 Main Event and satellites from $1,500, and a super high roller series that climbs to a $200,000 Invitational and a $100,000 Main Event. With the Ivan Leow Player of the Year and the inaugural Player ONE title both up for grabs, Cyprus will decide more than just trophies. For players, the key is to follow the satellites if you want a seat, and to follow the action on the Triton Plus Poker app if you are happy to watch.
