Between a $1 million candy-collecting event at GGPoker, three Mystery PKOs at ACR with $650,000 in combined guarantees and a €5 million series at RedStar, there is a lot on offer for the week leading up to October 31. This guide pulls together the Halloween poker promotions published by PokerListings, compares how they work and flags the practical points players should check before opting in. It is a news roundup, not a recommendation to deposit anywhere; read each operator's terms and make sure online poker is legal where you live.
GGPoker: $1M Halloween Party (Through October 31)
GGPoker's promotion is the one most dependent on luck, and the mechanics are easy to follow. Eligible games include All-In or Fold, Rush & Cash, cash NLHE, cash PLO in four-, five- and six-card variants, and cash Short Deck. Each jack in your hole cards earns one candy. Each jack on the board earns one candy if you are involved in the hand. Ten candies can be exchanged for a prize worth up to $1,000. There is no cap on candies or prizes, and you can collect and exchange candies until October 31 at 23:59 (UTC-8).
Excluded tables include AoF Feature, WSOP Express, Spin & Gold, Mystery Battle Royale, Flip & Go, tournaments, Flash Satellites and play-money games. The welcome bonus listed is 100 percent up to $600.
The maths of candy collecting. Because the mechanic is based on jacks, we can estimate how quickly candies accumulate. The chance of holding at least one jack in your two hole cards is about 14.9 percent (one minus the chance both cards are non-jacks, 1,128 over 1,326). The expected number of jacks in your hole cards per hand is about 0.154. If all five board cards are dealt and you are still involved in the hand, you expect about 0.385 jacks on the board. Together that is roughly 0.54 candies per hand that goes to a full board, or about 18 to 19 such hands per ten-candy prize. In practice, many hands end before the river, so the real rate is lower, and the prize each ten candies buys ranges up to $1,000 but is not fixed at that amount. The promotion is therefore best seen as a bonus on volume you would play anyway, not a reason to change your game. Chasing jacks is a leak.
ACR Poker: Three Halloween Mystery PKOs
Americas Cardroom is running three Halloween Mystery PKO tournaments with Day 2 on November 1:

RedStar (iPoker): €5M Bounty Hunters Series (October 25 to November 16)
The largest headline number belongs to RedStar on the iPoker network. Its €5M Bounty Hunters Series runs from October 25 to November 16 with 337 PKO and Mystery tournaments. There are seven multi-flight events with buy-ins from €1 to €500 and guarantees from €5,000 to €200,000. On November 1 there are two Mystery Bounty events: a €50 BHS with a €100,000 guarantee (Event #08) and a €150 BHS Halloween Special, also €100,000 guaranteed (#09).
The series also runs missions, which are rake-based challenges. The Ultra Main Mission requires 4,000 points (€400 rake) for a €10 BHS ULTRA satellite ticket; Zombie Hunter Cup I needs 2,000 points (€200 rake) for a €5 ticket; and Zombie Hunter Cup II needs 10,000 points (€1,000 rake) for a €25 ticket. A quick reading of those numbers shows that the ticket values are small relative to the rake required, which means the missions are a rebate on activity rather than a source of free value. The welcome bonus is 200 percent up to $2,000.
JackPoker: Full House of Horror
JackPoker's Full House of Horror PKO Series runs through November 1, with the biggest events on the final day: a $50 Main Event with $80,000 guaranteed and a $1,000 High Roller with $100,000 guaranteed. Separate daily Halloween tasks run from October 26 to November 1: complete a daily quest at PLO, PLO5C or PLO6C cash tables for up to $50 in instant cash (standard players) or up to $130 (VIP players). Completed tasks earn up to seven giveaway tickets, with prizes including an iPhone 17 Pro Max, a PlayStation 5 Pro, a MacBook Air, an Apple Watch, AirPods Pro and up to $5,000 in instant cash. The welcome bonus is 300 percent up to $2,000.
BCPoker: $50K Halloween Series (Through November 6)
BCPoker's Halloween Series has $50,000 in guarantees through November 6. Highlights include a free $0 Halloween Freeroll with $300 guaranteed on October 31, a $50 Apex Halloween with $20,000 guaranteed on October 31, a $7 Halloween Bounty with $1,000 guaranteed (October 25 to 29), and an $11 Halloween Mystery Bounty with $1,500 guaranteed (October 30 to November 5). There is a Lucky Spin for completing daily tasks, with a prize wheel worth up to $1,000, and an MTT KO Ranking leaderboard worth $1,800 across 50 paid places, with $500 for first. One caution: PokerListings notes a discrepancy in the welcome bonus. The text lists 50 percent up to $1,000, while the offer banner shows "$5 free plus 100 percent up to $200."
