GGPoker Nov: $14M Promos & Black Friday

By jason-murphyยทNovember 6, 2026ยท7 min read

GGPoker's November promotions are worth about $14 million in extra value, according to a Pokerfuse breakdown published on November 5, 2026. The headline items are the November King cash game race, a Black Friday Gem Sale that starts on November 16, and a Black Friday Buy-In Sale that slashes tournament entry fees by up to 90 percent.

There is a catch worth knowing up front. Pokerfuse noted that the article's own breakdown, $13 million in recurring promos plus $3 million in signature promos, adds up to $16 million rather than $14 million, so the totals do not fully reconcile. That is a reminder that marketing headlines are best read alongside the actual rules. Here is a clear guide to what is on offer and who should care.

November King: $250,000 a Week

November King runs from November 1 to 14 and uses three weekly leaderboards in the first two weeks. Each week awards $250,000 in total, split by stakes:

  • Low stakes: $20,000
  • Medium stakes: $70,000
  • High stakes: $160,000

Single prizes go up to $20,000. Eligible games include regular cash games, Rush & Cash, All-in or Fold and Short Deck. Daily leaderboard points also count toward the race, so players who already grind the daily boards earn progress for free.

The split by stakes is the most important feature. The high stakes pool is more than twice as large as the medium pool, which tells you where the money is concentrated. Low stakes grinders compete for a smaller pie but face tougher odds per dollar of volume only if they are playing the most hands. For anyone choosing which level to play, calculate expected leaderboard value against the rake you will pay. Our rakeback guide explains how to put a value on these kinds of rewards.

The Black Friday Gem Sale

From November 16 to the end of the month, GGPoker will sell discounted Gem packages on a first-come, first-served basis:

Package Gems Discount
$5 2,500 50% off
$100 58,500 35% off
$1,000 600,000 25% off
$10,000 6,000,000 20% off

Note how the discount shrinks as the package grows. The cheapest bundle offers the deepest percentage cut, while the $10,000 package gives 20 percent off. Gems are the site's in-app currency, and what you can buy with them is a key question: if you have no use for them, a discount means nothing. Read the terms and confirm how you intend to spend them before buying.

The Buy-In Sale: Up to 90% Off

The Black Friday Buy-In Sale is the part most tournament players will care about. During Black Friday week, buy-ins for major tournaments are cut by up to 90 percent, while the guarantees stay the same. The example given is the $200,000 GGMasters, available for $10.80 instead of $108.

If the guarantee is unchanged and the buy-in drops, two things happen: more players enter, and the chance of an overlay shrinks. In practice, a 90 percent discount tends to produce much larger fields, which means the prize pool usually runs well past the guarantee. That makes the first-place prize larger, but it also makes each individual's chance of winning smaller. For a recreational player, the discount is a cheap lottery ticket. For a professional, the larger field adds variance and reduces the edge per buy-in.

To understand how field size affects your results, read about what is ICM and our bankroll management guide. A discounted buy-in is attractive, but only if you keep your risk in proportion to your bankroll.

Daily Leaderboards

GGPoker's daily leaderboards continue through the month with these prize pools:

  • Spin & Gold: $1.5 million
  • Texas Hold'em: $1.36 million
  • Pot Limit Omaha: $1.36 million
  • Rush & Cash: $1.36 million
  • Mystery Battle Royale: $300,000
  • All-in or Fold: $544,000
  • Short Deck: $272,000
  • Flip & Go: $150,000

Add those up and you have more than $5 million in monthly leaderboard value, spread across eight game types. The numbers show where GGPoker puts its money: Spin & Gold and the three core cash formats receive the largest allocations. Smaller pools in All-in or Fold, Short Deck and Flip & Go are an opportunity for specialists, because fewer players chase them.

Other November Promotions

The Pokerfuse article lists several additional items:

  • Polish Poker League: $20,000 in added value across weekly $11 tournaments on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Top-ranked players share $5,000 and earn a place in the final, which offers an $8,000 package for a WSOP Super Circuit event in Punta Cana, plus $7,000 in cash and other rewards.
  • GUKPT Grand Final: Players who qualify through GGPoker online satellites get an extra 10 percent on top of their winnings at The Victoria Casino in London.
  • Recurring promotions: daily leaderboards, new player bonuses, daily freebies and others, totaling $13 million.
  • Signature promotions: $3 million, including the Daily $100k Flipouts and Rush & Cash Fridays.
  • New players: a welcome bonus of up to $600 (100 percent deposit match), or up to $100 in rewards, plus Honeymoon newcomer perks.

On top of those, the PLO Series is running now, billed with a $20 million guarantee across 17 days, and Flip & Go Millionaire guarantees at least $1 million for an $11 buy-in. Global microFestival and GGMillion$ Week are coming up. GGPoker also named Lex Veldhuis its Global Streaming Ambassador on November 3.

What This Means for Players

Compare the value, not the headline. A $14 million total sounds enormous, but spread across millions of players it is a small amount per head. Evaluate the promotions relevant to your stakes and your volume, and ignore the rest.

Be careful with first-come offers. Gem sales are first-come, first-served. Do not rush to buy a package you do not understand.

Plan for Black Friday week. If you intend to play the discounted buy-ins, decide in advance how many entries you will fire and stop when you reach the limit. Large fields with low buy-ins attract recreational players, but variance is the same for everyone.

US players need other options. GGPoker is not available to players in most US states, so if you are in the US, our US poker sites page and real money poker guide list where to play. Our bonus page compares welcome offers across rooms, and the BetOnline review covers one popular option for American players.

Mind your volume. Leaderboards reward the number of hands you play. Do not let a prize chase push you into stakes above your roll or hours that harm your play. Strong poker strategy beats a leaderboard grind.

The Bottom Line

GGPoker's November schedule is packed with promotions: $250,000 a week in November King prizes, a Black Friday Gem Sale, a 90 percent buy-in discount week, and daily leaderboards that add up to millions. The numbers are big, and some of the deals are genuinely attractive, especially the discounted buy-ins. But the totals do not all line up, the Gem discounts shrink as you spend more, and every promotion is designed to bring in volume. Treat the offers as a bonus to a sound plan, not a reason to abandon one.
