BCPoker Raises Bonus to 50% Up to $1,000

By jason-murphyยทOctober 24, 2026ยท7 min read

BCPoker has increased its first-deposit bonus from 10 percent up to $200 to 50 percent up to $1,000, according to PokerListings, a fivefold jump in the maximum bonus that changes how the room competes in the crypto poker market. The offer is crypto-only, it is released through cash game rake, and it has to be cleared within 30 days. Before you deposit, the terms are worth reading carefully, because a bigger headline number does not automatically mean better value.

This guide breaks down what has changed, how the bonus releases, and what the maths looks like for different types of players. If you are comparing sites, our full BC Poker review covers the room in more detail, including its Anjouan licence and provably fair approach.

What Has Changed

The old welcome offer was a 10 percent bonus up to $200. The new offer is 50 percent up to $1,000. In practical terms, a player depositing $2,000 in crypto can now earn the full $1,000 bonus, compared with a maximum of $200 under the previous structure.

PokerListings reported the details as follows:

  • Offer: 50 percent up to $1,000
  • Deposit method: crypto only
  • Minimum deposit: $20
  • Deposit needed for the full bonus: $2,000
  • Release rate: $0.10 for every $1 of rake generated, equivalent to 10 percent rakeback
  • Clearing period: 30 days from activation
  • Eligible games: regular cash games only

Rake from multi-table tournaments, sit & gos, spin & gos and club games does not count towards clearing the bonus.

A small caveat: a promotional widget on the PokerListings page listed a different offer, "$5 free + 100% up to $200", which conflicts with the 50 percent up to $1,000 headline. The detailed article text is the more specific source, but we recommend verifying the current terms on the BCPoker cashier before you deposit.

Who Is Eligible

According to the report, the bonus is open to several groups: new players, players who previously deposited in fiat, players whose earlier deposit was under $20, and players who chose "No Bonus" on a previous deposit. To activate it, you select "Poker Welcome Bonus" on the deposit page. That is a useful detail, because many players miss out on bonuses simply by not selecting the option at the point of deposit.

Withdrawals are allowed after activation, and any bonus you have not yet cleared is not forfeited if you withdraw. It still expires 30 days after activation, though, so there is no way to pause the clock.

The Maths: What $1,000 Really Costs

The key to evaluating any rake-based bonus is working out how much rake you need to generate. At a release rate of $0.10 per $1 of rake, releasing the full $1,000 requires $10,000 of cash game rake within 30 days. That figure is our own arithmetic based on the published terms, not a number from BCPoker, but it follows directly from the 10 percent release rate.

To put that into context, how much volume does $10,000 of rake represent? That depends heavily on the stakes. At low stakes, where rake is a larger percentage of each pot but pots are small, generating $10,000 of rake in a month means an enormous number of hands. At mid and high stakes, where individual pots carry more rake, the target is easier to reach. Because we do not have BCPoker's rake structure in the source, we cannot give a precise hand count, so check the rake table for your preferred stakes.

The practical conclusion is that the full $1,000 bonus is aimed at high-volume cash game players. A casual player who deposits $2,000 but plays a few sessions a week is unlikely to clear all of it. A partial release is more realistic, and for many players it will still be worth having.

Why the Release Structure Matters

Because the bonus releases in $0.10 increments for every $1 of rake, it works in effect like a temporary rakeback boost. If you are not familiar with the concept, our explainer on what is rakeback and the rakeback page cover how it works and how to compare offers.

There are two things to note. First, the bonus is not released in a single lump sum; you earn it gradually as you play. Second, because the clock is 30 days, the value of the bonus depends on how quickly you can generate rake. A player who plays 20 hours a week will clear far more than one who plays two.

Crypto-Only: What It Means

The offer is limited to crypto deposits. BCPoker is a crypto-native room, so that is consistent with its model, but it does limit the audience. If you do not already hold crypto, you will need to buy it first, which adds a step and potentially fees. Our guides to crypto poker and bitcoin poker explain how deposits work, and our payments page lists the options across different sites.

Crypto payments also bring practical advantages, including fast deposits and withdrawals on many sites. As always, only deposit what you can afford to lose, and be aware that crypto prices can move between the time you deposit and the time you withdraw.

How It Compares to Other Offers

A 50 percent match up to $1,000 is generous by industry standards, but the headline number is only part of the picture. When comparing welcome offers, consider:

  1. The release mechanism. Is the bonus released by rake, by points or by tournament play? BCPoker's cash-only release suits cash game players but excludes tournament specialists.
  2. The clearing time. Thirty days is relatively short for a large bonus.
  3. The deposit required. The full bonus needs a $2,000 deposit, which is a significant sum for many players.
  4. The restrictions on withdrawals. Here the terms are friendly, because an uncleared bonus is not forfeited by a withdrawal.

Our bonus page compares welcome offers across the sites we review, so you can see how BCPoker's updated promotion stacks up against others.

What This Means for Players

If you are a high-volume cash game player who already uses crypto, the new offer is worth a look. A 10 percent release rate on top of any standard rakeback is attractive if you can generate the volume to clear it. If you play mainly tournaments, the offer is much less suitable, because tournament rake does not count.

If you are a casual player, you may prefer to deposit a smaller amount and take a partial bonus, and treat the bonus as a small extra rather than the reason to play. The smaller the deposit, the smaller the bonus, but also the smaller your risk. Our bankroll management guide explains how to size your deposit for your stakes.

And whichever site you choose, read the terms. Bonuses are marketing tools, and the details determine whether they are good value. Check the current terms in the cashier, confirm the eligible games, and note the 30-day deadline.

The Bigger Picture

The move shows how competitive the crypto poker market has become. Rooms are using larger welcome offers and rakeback to attract players, and the trend is likely to continue as more operators target crypto users. For players, that competition is good news, but it also makes it more important to compare offers carefully.

Bottom Line

BCPoker has raised its welcome bonus to 50 percent up to $1,000, available for crypto deposits of at least $20, with a $2,000 deposit needed for the maximum. The bonus releases at $0.10 per $1 of cash game rake and expires after 30 days, which means clearing the full amount would need around $10,000 of rake. That makes it best suited to high-volume cash game players. Check the terms in the cashier, play responsibly, and only deposit what you can afford to lose.
