Americas Cardroom has released the full schedule for its Venom Specials, and the numbers are substantial: 91 tournaments carrying $10.16 million in cumulative guarantees, spread across seven dates from August 17 through August 31. It arrives alongside a Super Stacked Sunday on August 16 offering more than $20 million in guaranteed prize pools in a single day.

What the Venom Specials Are
The Venom Specials function as a supporting schedule built around ACR's headline Venom events. The room is running dual Mystery Bounty Venoms in August: a $12 million guaranteed No Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty Venom with a $500,000 top bounty, and a $3 million guaranteed Pot Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom with a $250,000 top bounty. Combined, that is $15 million in guarantees across the two flagship tournaments.
The Specials fill the schedule around those events with 91 additional tournaments across seven dates. The commercial logic is straightforward: players in the building for a Venom Day 1 will fire other events on the same day, and a full schedule captures that volume rather than sending players elsewhere between flights.
The room has also been running a Venom Vault promotion from August 3–30, giving every eligible player a free key that unlocks a guaranteed prize — including Survivor Flip Step tickets and $2,650 seats to either August Mystery Bounty Venom.
Super Stacked Sunday: August 16
The single biggest day on the schedule falls on Sunday, August 16, with more than $20 million in guaranteed prize pools running concurrently. The card includes:

Both Venoms this August are Mystery Bounty events, and that is not a coincidence. Mystery bounty has been the most successful tournament format innovation of the past several years, and the reasons it works are worth understanding.
In a standard progressive knockout, the bounty on each player's head is known and mathematically calculable. Correct play involves computing whether the bounty value justifies a marginal call — a genuine skill edge that experienced players exploit systematically against opponents who cannot do the math.
